About the Recognition and Celebration group
The Recognition & Celebration group was created in 2022 from the original Volunteers’ Week Scotland working group. A well-established group with strong links to campaigns and initiatives to celebrate volunteering.
The group are working on activities to:
- Coordinate national recognition and celebration initiatives and events relative to volunteering.
- To understand and promote local and regional community events to build on existing celebrations but with a focus of community development.

Inclusion Criteria:
- Your campaign needs to be based in Scotland or includes/covers Scotland
- Your campaign should have a focus on or highlight volunteering/volunteers
